Handy, the leading home services platform, announced Friday that 40% of professional payments are now being processed through the company's Cash Out Now feature, which was released in July 2017. The feature has quickly gained wide adoption among independent contractors who use the platform to book house cleaning, furniture assembly, and maid service jobs.

Handy offers a number of different payment options for these professionals to choose from. Cash Out Now payments are triggered instantly by Handy and processed by most banks within one to two business days.

Christopher Lynch, the Handy product manager behind the release, said, "It's very important to us that the Handy platform is built to meet the wide-ranging needs of independent professionals. Professionals have always valued the flexibility to pick up housekeeping jobs on the Handy platform that fit with their schedule, and we wanted to provide more flexibility in payment options as well."
